Spring Cleaning

It's that time of year again. Where I get sick and tired of the clutter that has gathered in my house over the past few months and room by room I begin to get rid of it.

I have to do it one room at a time otherwise I will have a house full of half-cleaned rooms. So I start where I feel the most stressed out about messiness. The first stop was my bathroom.

As you can see, it wasn't pretty. Dirty, cluttered sink and counter. Old boring clear shower curtain. Several different bottles of hand soap.

Something had to be done! First, I went shopping for some new bathroom accessories. I had to do this on a budget, so I did a bit of shopping around until I found a design I loved at a price I could afford. Between a couple of different stores I spent a total of about $55. Then I went home, took everything out of the bathroom, cleaned, and replaced the things we actually needed to have in there. The result?

A bathroom that I am completely in L-O-V-E with. It's more of grownup space, and less of a something-you-might-find-in-a-bachelor-pad space.

My next project? The kitchen pantry. I can't find the things I need for cooking, so it's time to get it organized!

It's embarassing, I know. But not for long. I'm heading out to Laguna Hills Mall to find some containers for organizing, and we'll see what happens...
