"A day of pampering basket" teacher's gift (and printable!) featuring #DeliciousPairings from Starbucks and Walmart

It's almost time for Winter break, and as the room mom for my son's preschool class I was feeling the pressure to think of a great gift for our wonderful teacher. All of the parents in the class wanted to pitch in to get her one gift, so I knew it had to be really spectacular. I just wasn't sure what it was going to be.

This week Collective Bias™ sent me to Walmart to pick try out one of their Delicious Pairings, featuring the Starbucks Holiday Blend and The Bakery at Walmart Cinnamon Rolls. I was able to easily find the display in the bakery section.
I love the way they have all of the different roasts displayed for you with suggestions on what to pair them with. I guess I never realized that certain foods went with certain kinds of coffee. I'm a dark roast kind of girl, but this time of year means a very special type of coffee.
Armed with the knowledge of what flavors pair well with the Starbucks Holiday Blend, I went back to the bakery section to find a yummy treat to go along with it.
I settled on the Gourmet Cinnamon Rolls with White Icing, and headed home to enjoy my coffee and treat while I brainstormed a great teacher's gift. I sat down with my cup of coffee - plain, just the way I like it. I normally grab a coffee from Starbucks while I'm out running errands, but it was nice to just sit and relax and enjoy it in the kitchen. Although I did have to drag my little coffee maker out of the garage. Yeah, it's been a while since I made my own coffee.
I took a sip of the coffee first and I could definitely taste a little of the pumpkin in it. I tried it with a bite of cinnamon roll, and it brought out more of the spices. I could definitely get used to making my own coffee at home. Then it hit me - coffee and cinnamon rolls would be a great addition to a gift basket for our teacher!

I decided to create "a day of pampering in a basket" for the teacher. She'll hopefully have the free time over the Winter break to put it to good use. I wrote a little poem to go along with the basket and had my friend Jill  whip up a cute printable. Feel free to use it to make your own basket by downloading and printing it here.
Here's what in our basket:
-One package of Starbucks Holiday Blend
-One package of The Bakery at Walmart Cinnamon Rolls
-Reusable coffee mug
-Visa gift card to use at one of her favorite stores
-Gift card to one of her favorite restaurants
-Aromatherapy bath and body products
-A mesh sponge
-A 4-pronged massager
-A gel eye mask
-A Redbox gift certificate
-Popcorn
-Chocolate
I just need to wrap it up and it will be ready to give to her! I can't wait to see her face when all of the kids give it to her. I just know she'll love it. I'll make sure to ask her thoughts on the coffee and cinnamon rolls after she tries them, too.
