Power the Creativity with Energizer and Crayola!

A couple of weeks ago, the kids and I were invited to attend a lovely little get together to learn about how Crayola and Energizer have teamed up to "Power the Creativity" this holiday season.

As Christmas draws closer, I cringe at some of the random toys that are being pushed in kids' faces in hopes that they'll add them to their lists. Don't get me wrong - I'm not a toy hater - but I love getting things for my kids that encourage them to use their imaginations and help sharpen their skills. The kids were given the chance to try all kinds of Crayola products - all powered by Energizer batteries. Mason really enjoyed the Digital Light Designer. I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to get him to leave.

I, of course had to play with some of the products too! It was really neat to see how much curiosity and excitement a little glow can add to a simple art project. The Color Wonder Light-Up Paint Palette does just that.

The best part about the partnership between Energizer and Crayola are the great deals you'll find on all kinds of different products! Specially marked Crayola products will have savings on Energizer products, and vice versa. I even saw a great deal on Target when you purchase both brands together.

Did you know that Energizer Max batteries with Power Seal Technology can hold their power on the shelf for up to ten years? That means you can stock up and be prepared for anything. I have a cabinet in my garage that I like to keep stocked with all sizes of batteries just in case. Not only are they good to have on hand for any toys the kids get as gifts - and the last thing you want to do is be out of batteries when the stores are closed on Christmas Day - but also living in California I want to make sure we're prepared for any emergencies that may happen.

We also were able to check out the awesome flameless wax candles made by Energizer. They're available in different designs and sizes , and some are even slightly scented. I have one in my guest bathroom. The soft light provides enough visibility so that guests don't have to fumble around to find the light switch in my normally dark bathroom, and the built-in timer lets me conserve the batteries even more. And of course I don't have to worry about my kids messing with a real candle and burning themselves or starting a fire.

Thank you to Energizer, Crayola, and Mom Central for letting us be a part of this fun event!

Disclaimer: I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Energizer. I attended an event and received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
