This past week was the first official week of the special Mamavation graduate campaign. We got our Billy Blanks dvds, our workout plans and our support systems in place. I have to admit that it was a rough start for me, though.
Hanging out with a couple of friends we haven't seen in years and also spending as much time as possible with a friend who is moving across the country in two days left me maybe eating more than I should have. While I did make healthier choices than the old me would have made, I realized that I need to find ways to celebrate with friends that aren't as food-centric.
Positive changes I've made recently have definitely impacted me in a good way, but there is still so much work to be done. Exclusively nursing my almost-four-month-old has me battling hormones almost constantly. I have made sure to keep a bar of really good quality dark chocolate in my pantry at all times, and I even broke it up into individual squares to make grabbing a small bit a little easier.
Today I'm not feeling so great. I think the lack of caffeine may be catching up to me. Every now and then I have some green tea, but what I'd like to do is just sleep for like 24 hours straight. It's definitely not easy to motivate yourself to work out when you feel so crappy, but I try to tell myself that it will help me on my road to more energy.
My goals this week will be to stay super hydrated, get my meal plan up and running, and avoid Halloween candy. And of course to complete my workouts. It's going to be a good week! #positivethoughts
