I can't believe it's been over a week since I got home from Fitcation 2012. It was such an amazing weekend, I was having a hard time trying to fit it all into one blog post. I kicked off the weekend by picking up two wonderful ladies in my van and heading to the hotel. But first we stopped for lunch, a treat at Pinkberry, and an obligatory celebrity sighting.
The hotel rooms were amazing. Did I mention I had my very own room?! Well, I shared it with Morgan, but he hardly takes up any space. The hotel even had a crib set up in my room for him. How sweet! You best bet I took a bath one of those nights. I went as far as bringing my own LUSH products since I can't really take one at home.
I didn't want to leave.
Once Morgan and I were all settled in we headed over to @bookieboo's room for some mommy and baby playdate time. There was lots of baby-holding the whole weekend. I barely held my own baby, except when I needed to feed or change him.
Day one was pretty relaxing, but bright and early Friday morning we got our butts handed to us by Fit Body Boot Camp. All those lunges and squats - my quads were sore the ENTIRE weekend. It was definitely a workout you don't forget about. I thought about it every time I moved a muscle. Ouch. Afterwards we headed to Dole for a lovely breakfast surrounded by beautiful scenery, and then some product demonstrations. We spent most of the day learning and growing, and then had an amazing dinner at @bookieboo's house made entirely from @inspirerd's recipes.
Beautiful Dole breakfast.
I am so incredibly thankful to the sponsors and also Leah Segedie who made this event possible. Not only did I work out and learn about nutrition, I also created and renewed some lasting friendships with ladies all around the country. I love my Mamavation Sistas with all of my heart, and I absolutely treasure opportunities like this one. Thank you thank you thank you!
