Mamavation Monday 7/23/12

10 Days ago I looked like this:

As I was preparing to push out this:

A few days later I was at home and looking like this:

I'm still wearing maternity bottoms, but I can fit in my regular shirts. I'm not sure how long it will be until I can wear regular jeans, but I'm not super worried about it. I'm taking it one day at a time right now, and concentrating on baby and family. My exercise for the moment is housework and the occasional walk around the neighborhood. More than that and I get very sore. My eating is varied. I am trying to eat healthier, but find myself hungry constantly due to breastfeeding. My challenge is to keep lots of healthy snacks at the ready so that I don't even have to think about it. Water is not really a problem, since I'm super thirsty all of the time.

My first goal is to be under 200 pounds again by the time I go to fitcation. I think it's very doable, since my last weigh-in was 209, and fitcation is still a few weeks away. Here goes nothing!

I didn't realize you had your little bundle of joy already! Congratulations on such a beautiful baby :)

I have no doubt you'll be able to achieve your weight loss goals! Just take it one step at a time and rest when your body tells you to.

You will get there, keep eating healthy and walking as well as the work around the house. It maybe taking a slower time than you anticipated but eventually you will notice the pounds wasting away. Best wishes and congrats on the new addition to the family.

Ok first of all.. I call dibs on sitting next to the baby at Fitcation :)

Secondly, just focus on the little things. You are doing great and right now you don't need to stress the small things.

Congratulations and you are SO going to be under 200 by August 16th :)
