So anyway, that's where I've been. It's been rough on my family life, and I have definitely not been taking care of myself the way that I should be. The proof is in the pudding. (I don't know why my computer cut off half the picture and the posted it sideways but I am too tired to fix it. Sorry.)
I've gained 3.6 pounds in the past 4 weeks. That's the opposite direction I want the scale to be going.
I'm really hoping things will settle down soon and I'll be able to get into more of a routine. In the mean time, I have a few goals for myself.
-Drink my water! Today I had maybe 40oz of water. That is just embarassing. I'm going to be bringing one or two of my reusable bottles with me EVERYWHERE and make sure I refill them as much as possible. I need to get back up to 100oz.
-Chill out on the Starbucks. I love my caffeine, but even a Skinny Caramel Macchiato has more calories than I really need to be drinking. I've always been one to NOT drink my calories. Time to get back to that. If I really need a boost, an iced coffee works just as well.
-No more take out. Plan ahead, involve the hubby, and this will save us money as well.
-Portion control. I tend to snack a lot at work. Most of the time it's healthy, but even grapes need to be portion controlled.
-Exercise whenever/wherever I can. I'm headed to the gym tomorrow after my work meeting and before my closing shift. If I can't make it to the gym some days I need to work out at home. I have the tools.
So that's my action plan for the next few weeks. I'm hoping I'll see the scale start moving in the right direction soon. In the mean time, I would love it if you guys called me out on twitter as much as possible. All those "Where are you" "I miss you" "Why aren't you posting" tweets really do help me.
Hope everyone has a great week!

You'll drop those in no time, but I have to ask about all that water. Does it annoy you to pee all day long because of it? That's the part I hate!
I wouldn't worry too much about those pounds, they're probably just stress pounds or something. You'll get rid of those suckers in no time. Plus...you still look fab so zip it!
So happy to hear from you. I did miss seeing you around. Ya know, do your best. I understand as parents we need to provide for our family and it doesn't always help our health goals. You are tough and savvy, so I can't wait to see you continue with your healthy journey. Kick those new lbs to the curb!
Love your goals because I KNOW you can do it! Transitioning to a new job can take it's toll, but you are gonna drop the gain in NO TIME! Proud of you!!! HUGS
This is the difference between someone who is successful and someone who is NOT successful. You have an action plan. That my dear is way beyond what most people do and exactly what I do to get things done. Just get up like I keep telling you. These things happen all the time...even to me! XXOO
