So this past I had kind of a can-do attitude about everything. The beginning of the week started out a bit slow, but I ate well and did my jumping jacks. By Thursday I was tracking my water, my fiber, my calories, and finding little ways to add workouts to my day. I did a few sessions on the wii fit, and some home exercises as well. It feels so great to finally start moving my butt. As soon as this rain gets the heck out of here I would like to start the Couch to 5K program. (Again...) I made all my goals, including the one about not going to Chick-fil-A! I'm extra proud of myself for consistently getting over 25g of fiber each day without supplements. I'm just trying to eat a very balanced diet, and it seems to be working.
For the Movement Challenge I completed 220 minutes! And all of that was just over the weekend. I think I need to spread that stuff out a little more, but yay anyway.
I've got a lot to talk about this week, so I'm going to jump right into my weight. Excuse my toenails, it's been a while since I've done them. They need a touch up.
Last week: 206lbs
This week: 204lbs
Total lost with #mamavation: 8lbs
Woo! Every little bit closer I get to being out of the 200s makes me that much more happy.
Goals for the week:
-Keep up the water, about 100oz a day.
-Keep up the fiber, about 25g a day.
-4 sets of 50 jumping jacks each day.
-Start Couch to 5K, and do it for more than one day.
-Get on the Wii Fit at least 2 times in the week.
-Track my calories at least 6 out of 7 days.
If I follow these goals I hope to see another 2 pound loss. That would be awesome!
For the Move it & Lose it Challenge there are a few requirements. Two of them happen to be posting my measurements, and full body pics. Let me just say that I am not proud of either of these, and it is not easy for me to do this. But, part of changing my body is accepting it the way it is. Not accepting that I have to be this way forever, but accepting that I am this way now, and I need to do the right things to change it. Plus, I have to have some before pictures so my after pictures will look that much more great!
Bust: 44 3/4"
Arms: L: 15" R: 15 1/4"
Thighs: L: 25 1/2" R: 25 1/4"
And of course I have some shout outs to do.
Congrats to Marie for her post of the week. Loved all the nature pictures!
Congrats to @MMScarlett for commenter of the week. She wins a 20-minute session with the ever-inspiring Pete Cohen. Woo!
Thank you thank you thank you for choosing me for Sista of the Week this week. It is an amazing honor, and it was a nice little boost of self-esteem that I definitely put to good use. I love you guys, and really couldn't do any of this without you.
Have a great week ladies!
