I originally wrote this as part of a blog hop, but thought I'd keep it since I always have a hard time writing about myself.
My name is Angela, I'm 23 years old. (Turning 24 in a couple of weeks!) I'm the mom of two very spirited little boys. Mason, my three year old, and Jackson, the newest addition, is almost 7 months old. Between the two of them, I am kept pretty busy. You can tell by my messy hair and the crazy look in my eyes when you see me in public. I wouldn't have it any other way though.
I've been married to my husband, Andrew, for 3 years now. We were married 5 days after his birthday, on March 25th 2006. We had a small wedding in my Aunt's backyard. A little over 40 of our closest friends and family attended. My Aunt lives in Vegas, and we went out on the town that night, but I was only 20 at the time, so I did a lot of watching. :)
I started this blog as a way to document my second pregnancy. I soon fell into the world of blogging and memes and carnivals, and all the other fun stuff that goes along with it. I really enjoy meeting new blog friends and sharing similar experiences. I strive to reply to every comment I get, and also leave a comment or two back. I get behind once in a while, but I get caught up eventually!
I'm currently on a roller coaster ride that I like to call "trying to lose weight." I'm struggling with motivation and will-power, as most people do when dieting. I started a blog to help me keep track of things and also to share recipes and motivate other bloggers trying to lose a few pounds as well. It's private, that way we don't have to worry about everyone in the world reading it. If you'd like to join in, let me know.
I spend most of my time at home, because I'm a stay at home mom. It's definitely a change from the fast-paced retail job I was used to. I worked at a Bath and Body Works Flagship store for 3 years. I made some great friends there, but I don't really miss it. I'm happy that I can be at home with my family, and I'm not missing out on all the fun stuff on the weekends, when I would usually be working.
In a recent post, I admitted that I never went to college. I intended to, but I am very much a procrastinator. After high school I decided I wanted to take a year off. During that year I moved to Nevada, and of course I had to wait to become a resident so I didn't have to pay out-of-state tuition. I wasn't even close when I moved again to California. Another year to wait. But then I got pregnant and my priorities changed. A year or so later I looked into online classes, but it wasn't what I wanted to do. My indecisive self still hasn't figured out what I want to do with my life anyway. I have narrowed it down, though. Accountant or Pharmacist. I want to do something that has pretty normal hours so I can be with the kids when they're not at school.

Hey. Can you add me to the weightloss blog? I have some stuff to add!!!
So nice to meet you. I went to college for just one year but never finished due to health reasons. College works for some, but you can live a very full, sucessful life without it too! :) My BlogNerd post is at http://www.InfertilityMom.blogspot.com or I would love any input or advice you have for me at http://www.InnerBeautyGirlz.com with my beauty blog since that's your area of experience. :)
I decided to take a year off of college and got pregnant and have yet to go! I do accounting and work at home and have YEARS of experience, but I really want that degree..... someday we'll accomplish our goals :)
Thanks for joining in BlogNerd!!
I would love access to your weighloss blog ~ it's something I need to start working on and I know my sister will be interested in it as well. She just started Weight Watchers.
Sounds like fun, The BlogNerd Bash. I'm also not going and staying home. Not sure if I had the chance if I'd even go. I too run a weight loss blog. It's growing cobwebs right now do to my anti-weight loss attitude.
It is great to "meet" you. I can totally relate to the struggling with motivation and will-power on the weight loss rollercoaster. I have been working out consistently for 2 weeks and I got on the scale yesterday only to find that I actually GAINED weight. :(
Anyway, good luck with your efforts. Glad you left a comment on my blog and I got to stop by!! :)
Hey! We have kiddos the same age. :)
Nice to meet you!
Great to meet you through the Blognerd Bash. I am also a SAHM. (but of three girls) I did go to college, and just finished paying for it. But I am so happy to be home with my kids. I may go back to work someday, but I hope to do some freelance writing so I can work from home.
I am also on the weight loss journey. I still am trying to get off the last weight I gained with my third child (who is almost 4). I am trying to get motivated and I just haven't gotten there yet. I keep telling myself I will start tomorrow. . .
I'm quite the procrastinator, too! It's nice to meet you. :-)
I just started another loop on the weight roller coaster. I'm on day 4 of south beach. It's a constant struggle.

So nice to meet you, I didn't do college either - which has interesting repercussions whilst discussing college/education choices with my teenagers!
Looking forward to going forward on that goal some day tho'.
Enjoying my blog hop this morning.
I would love to take a look at your other blog as well.
I know what you mean about the look in your eyes when you go out in public. It took quite a while after my first munchkin was born before I stopped sweating and feeling like I had to have a hand on him at all times. I know I looked like a deer in the headlights.
Nice to meet you!
Stopping in from the Blog Hop! Hope you have a terrific weekend!!
Stopping by from the BlogHop to say hello.
Great to meet you! I am a fellow procrastinator and also a fellow former retail worker! :) I miss how much thinner I was when I worked on my feet all day, but I don't miss the environment! Happy Blog Hop and Blog Nerd Bash!
What a cute blog!! I enjoyed reading your intro post. I am involved on a few weight loss blogs as I have lost 40+ pounds and am fighting to get the last 10 off. It's killing me so I can totally relate. I hope you are enjoying the bloghop! Party on.
Stopping by for BlogHop 09 and celebrating my birthday.
Hope you have a great weekend!
Stopping in from the Blog Hop and wanted to say hi! I'm a SAHM too and am now just going back to college - hope to be done by the time the little one (or later ones) go to school.
Almost a year later, I'm still trying to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight, so I understand the struggle.
Hi Angie.
You have plenty of time to go to college:).

Good luck on your weight loss regime. Being a full time mom can make it tough to achieve those goals sometimes. Read about your postponement of going to college. Like your options--they both seem good to maintain a life with kids. Teaching is another one. My oldest son is struggling to go back to soon now to get his degree (he's in his early 30s). He blew his opportunity after HS and now horribly regrets he didn't apply himself when he had the chance. I guess the important thing is that whatever you decide to do--don't give up on your dreams even if it becomes a bit of a struggle at times. IT's all worth it when you look back on your life. Be good to YOU!!
