A few weeks ago, we decided last minute to go to the beach. We wanted to go to a specific beach that had a cave type area with lots of tide pools. Unfortunately, parking is first come first served, and we were out of luck.
As we traveled a bit further down the Pacific Coast Highway, we turned down a small street and found several open spots and what appeared to be a stairway down to a beach. We found a great little beach with tide pools and sand and barely anyone else there.
It seemed like most of the beach-goers were locals, just relaxing, reading books, and hanging out. It was secluded and quiet and beautiful.
